About Keith
Keith was born December 1, 1980 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Paul and Elizabeth Gibbs. The second of two (hence the baby of the family), he grew up in Lititiz, Pennsylvania until the age of 7 when he moved to the other side of Lancaster to Landisville.
Even as a kid, Keith loved drawing, playing with (and ripping apart) his computer, and reading. By the time he was in high school he was well adept with all three, adding theater, painting, and writing to the mix. He graduated toward the top of his class at Hempfield High School and generally had a fun time with it (particulary since his senior year consisted of mostly art classes).
Quite unlike Alyssa, who traveled off to Europe in her late teens, Keith was accepted and began studies nearby at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster (fifteen minutes from where he lived and several blocks from the hospital he was born). Although flirting with a variety of majors (Art and English being two frontrunners going in), Keith began taking Philosophy and Religious Studies classes and soon declared. Here, of course, Keith and Alyssa met and the rest is, of course history.
After graduating Magna Cum Laude from F&M, Keith and Alyssa moved to Quincy, Massachusetts
because Keith was offered (and accepted) a full scholarship to Boston University School of Theology's Master of Theological Studies program. During his time at BU, he worked was one of the university's webmasters and as a web developer for the Networked Information Services group within BU's IT office. With his studies, Keith began focusing on late medieval to early modern European religious development, with a particular interest to mysticism, estotericism, alchemy, and magic in the 15th - 17th centuries. He graduated in May of 2005.
Currently, he and Alyssa live in Allston, Massachusetts with their two cats. Keith is working at NIS (as he did when a graduate student) but as a consultant and web developer.
