Lunch-time updates
Just going about a updating a few things on site to make it a little bit more Safari friendly over lunch and shoring up a few (albeit lame) "coming soon"-type pages, since Alyssa and I haven't finished all the content we want.
In general, I would expect the whole site to be fleshed out (so all of you issyandkeithophiles can see what we are up to, what we are currently working on, yadda yadda) in the next couple of days, and then set about making the whole site a CSS and XHTML beauty to behold, so that even Jeffery Zeldman would be proud. ETA on that sort of thing, by the end of next week (fingers crossed).
In other news, we will be making an appearance in Pittsburgh this weekend, albeit not as happy of an occasion as our travel the President's Day weekend (my sister, Kate, had a new baby on the 17th, Hailey Elizabeth, and my mom celebrated her birthday). Alyssa's dad is having surgery to hopefully replace his knee good as new, but keep him all in your prayers this week. We will be staying with my brother-in-law, Steven, and be around to give our love and support to rest of the Bittner family.
Other than that, on the radar, I am working on setting up my own side business, doing web development and design, which I hope to have in full swing by late April/early May. I just need to work on a new website (or two), a few portfolio projects to round out my design work (although my work at NIS affords me great development and project-management experience, I am not one of the resident designers and don't get much of a chance to flex those muscles), and a little work on standard code assets. I will keep everyone posted, but now that I am out of school and the wedding is done, I am looking forward to moving forward with my career development.
Hopefully, I will have a few more updates to post later tonight regarding content.
