Well, we closed out the club about 3:30 am. Since the sun was going down around 11ish, it was already starting to come up when we got out (as you can see in the photos). We milled about and hung out with Alex, et. al. out in the streets.   Coincidentally, July 1 is Alex's birthday--so it was great Alyssa and her were able to see each other.

Since the subway was closed down by this time, Alyssa and I walked back. We didn’t really have any sleep. Alyssa and I napped maybe an hour or so. Then back to the fun.

We went on another boat tour, this time around the canals and the western-most islands of the city. Very cool, even though it was a little rainy in the morning (again).

Afterwards, we went to the City Hall - which is also where they have the Nobel Prize banquet among other festivities. The art and the architecture was very cool--particularly the Golden Hall, which is titled with, among other things, 22K gold tiles.

After we wandered around the city some more, we went to the Nordiska Museum - a cultural history museum. It was pretty cool, except (unlike most museums we went to) the availability of full English translations (two paragraphs in Swedish do not equal one sentence in English).  Some of the English was also incorrectly written or oddly un-idiomatic.

We took the train back in the evening and Magnus picked us up at the train station in Eskilstuna at around 11 pm as the sun was beginning to set again.  We were definitely ready for bed.
